The Gold Pen Awards
The IABC Nashville Gold Pen Awards represent the best of work produced by Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky prfessional communicators and broadcasters. The work must have been prepared during the calendar year from January 1 to December 31, 2008.

IABC membership is not a requirement for entry into the competition, but we welcome your membership if you choose to join and pay member fees for the lowest entry price. Impartial IABC judges from chapters around the country evaluate entries based on the quality of the work plan and work samples. Please be certain to include a detailed budget and specific demographic target audiences in your work plan.

The 2009 submission deadlines are:

  • Monday, June 29, 2009 - early bird deadline
  • Wednesday, July 15, 2009 - DUE date
  • Monday, July 20, 2009 - late fees assessed

All winners will be notified by August 30 so you may plan to attend the 2009 Gold Pen Awards, to be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Listening Room in Nashville on Thursday, September 17, 2009.
