The Gold Pen Awards

The IABC Nashville Gold Pen Awards represent the best of work produced by Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky prfessional communicators and broadcasters. The work must have been prepared during the calendar year from January 1 to December 31, 2008.

The Awards Gala was Thursday evening, September 17, 2009, with the presentation of many Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards for communication work in our industry in addition to the IABC Nashville Communication Lifetime Achievement Award, President's Award, Excel Award, and Fellow Award.

Mary Hance, Ms. Cheap from The Tennessean, gave a very entertaining presentation. She was true to her name, Ms Cheap, as she explored all of the things communicators could do in the metro area for very cheap.
